what's for supper?

First and foremost, we could not survive without this little invention.  I really don't know what I did before I had one.

Justin and I are sweet tea ADDICTS!  And we like it really sweet as you can tell by looking at the mound of sugar in the bottom of that pitcher!  :)

Justin is trying to eat a more high-protein diet right now and requested pork tenderloin... so being the good little wifey that I am, I found a good recipe.   Like so many of my good ones, I found mine on Kelly's recipe blog.  Yummmm!

Then there is dessert.  The best part of every dinner...

Tea makers are the best! I'm a sugar addict as well, so that sugar mound doesn't phase me! Ha! The only quick recipe I can think of right now is black bean salsa. I drain and rinse 2 cans of black beans and 1 can of corn and add to a bowl. Add one chopped onion, 2 chopped tomatoes (or a can or two of diced), 1 tbsp of cilantro, olive oil, and vinegar, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of pepper plus 1/4 cup of lime juice. Just mix everything together and chill for a couple hours. Serve with chips! I know it's supposed to be just an appetizer but Justin requests it as a meal and can eat it with a spoon. I love not having to cook a thing (unless I make my own pita or tortilla chips), and there's basically no clean up.

Thanks for the comment on my blog! Have a great day!
