my thoughts tonight..

Today I had a “snow day” along with the rest of north Texas I believe.  There wasn’t much snow, but the roads were covered in ice.  I know this because my crazy husband couldn’t handle being cooped up, so we hit the road looking for something to do.  Only everything we tried was closed except for Taco Bell.  Taco Bell was super yummy.. I had been really wanting chicken quesadillas from there.

I am now 6 weeks pregnant and starting to feel a little more pregnant.  I am so tired all the time.  I can take a two hour afternoon nap and still be in bed by 930.  It’s insane.  I’ve had a little bit of nausea yesterday and today.  Both days it started at around 2pm.  I’m really hoping this won’t be a trend.  I do not want this mess sticking around!!!  Also, I’ve started noticing definite preferences in food.  For example.. the thought of a fried egg this morning was not sitting well with me at all… and tonight all I can think about is a big juicy homemade cheeseburger.

I’m so beyond ready to get to the doctor’s office and have things checked out.  After my first appointment I think I may start doing weekly updates with pictures and stuff.  I just don’t see the point right now since I’m not sure of an exact due date, and I’m really not showing yet.

In other baby news.. I had a newborn photo session over the weekend.  The baby is an absolute doll.  Here is a preview:

Oh I’m so ready to have my own little bundle in my arms! :)

That baby is adorable! Holy cow!! I'm glad you are feeling good and I will pray also that the nausea goes away.
I'm exhausted allllll the time. Today I slept till 11 am (thank you Migraine and nausea) and am exhausted now and its only 9:30! I would have been in bed an hour ago, but my Justin isn't ready.. haha!

When do you have your first appt? Everyone has been hounding me about mine. I'll be over 10 weeks before I see a doctor. I'm fine with it though!
You have been and will continue to be my prayers.

As annoying and miserable nausea is, it is usually an indicator of a healthy pregnancy. My two miscarriages I had very little morning sickness but felt awful most of the day with this pregnancy. I know it's not fun but your body is producing the necessary hormones your baby needs. Praise GOD!
